Hey, Surfers and friends!On the 9th of June we had one of the best meetings ever! We discussed the immortal William Shakespear and his plays. The conspiracy around this great author was unveiled by some experts in the audience. The interest was ignited and we hope that you guys googled some facts about this outstanding person or perhaps watched the movie Anonymus🤔After the introduction of the topic we witnessed a great prepared speech by Nicolai Moor. Our fellow Toast master told us his personal story of recovery and straightening out his life🤩Then after the break we took part in amazing impromptu session delivered by Veronica Fedorova. It was very creative and entertaining. Everyone could take part and improve their public speaking skills and even acting skills🎤We congratulate Artyom Botcharov who won the best table topics ribbon!The meeting was once in a life time experience! Who we are? ✨We are WorldSurfers 🏄, an English-language public speaking club in Moscow, affiliated with the global Toastmasters* International organization. We meet on alternate Tuesdays from 19:00 to 21:00 offline in Moscow. Check the channel for updates! *Toastmasters 💙 — an international non-profit organization that operates clubs all over the world and an acknowledged platform equipped with techniques that are supposed to guide and teach everyone who’s eager to learn more about Public Speaking and self-evolution. Can I come to the club meetings?Yes, yes and yes. You may come to the meeting as a guest for free. You need to fill in the form after the announcement of the meeting. What do we do on meetings?The meeting consists of two parts:🤍during the first one everyone listens to the speeches prepared by club members🤍 the second part is dedicated to Table Topics where everyone can participateEach and every speech is provided with the feedback by professional evaluators focusing on strengths and the points of development. Hey, fellow Toastmasters and friends! It has happened! WouldSurfers' Open House took place on the 26th of May almost a week ago, but the memories are still fresh. There were lots of guests, plenty of amazing speakers and tons of interaction🥳The Toastmaster of the day Veronica Fedorova moderated the event. She marlvelously introduced the TOASTMASTERS system to the audience setting the mood. There were two great prepared speeches:-Valerya Pogorelova -Mary TerekhovaIt was a bit different than our usual session of speeches, because after the first one we witnessed an evaluation by Artyom Botcharov. Only after that we went on with Mary's wonderful speech. After that the audience had a chance to evaluate her lovely performance🎤After the break Marina Prudnikova facilitated the unique impromptu session. We all had to guess from her questions who in the audience was proud of something ing their life. What a fun game it was! EVERYONE had a chance to speak up their mind ot the stage.
